research engineer in the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, and
leading author of the article.
In trying to explain the apparent decline in reflectivity,
lead author Chris Polashenski, an adjunct assistant professor at Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering and a

The model, built on more than three decades of
research led by Vincent Chiang of the Forest Biotechnology Group at North Carolina State University, will speed the process of
engineering trees for specific needs in timber, biofuel, pulp, paper and green chemistry applications.
To find out, a group of scientists,
engineers and policy experts,
led by PNNL's Joint Global Change
Research Institute, gathered at a workshop in Cambridge, Maryland, in April 2013 to consider the long - term impact of an expansion of the current natural gas boom on the rest of the world.
Although researchers have known for years about bismuth ferrite's piezoelectric properties, it could not be made to produce enough voltage to be considered as a replacement for
lead, says Ramamoorthy Ramesh, a professor of physics and of materials science and
engineering at U.C. Berkeley who contributed to the
research led by Robert Zeches, one of Ramesh's graduate researchers at Berkeley's Department of Materials Science and
Engineering.
Led by Zak Kassas, assistant professor of electrical and computer
engineering in UCR's Bourns College of
Engineering, the team presented its
research at the 2016 Institute of Navigation Global Navigation Satellite System Conference (ION GNSS +), in Portland, Ore., in September.
