Position Overview Working alongside with
lead special education teachers, special education aides provide assistance in handling students with special needs.
Lead special education teachers would be provided time to prepare and organize professional development, and be paid if outside of school hours, to specific areas of need according to general education teachers.
The Lead Special Education Teacher is responsible for the creation of academic interventions, managing a small caseload of Special Education students, and leading high - level cultural strategies and initiatives.
