HSI, one of the world's
leading animal protection groups campaigning for an end to China's dog meat trade, has been on the ground in Yulin and other Chinese regions for the past few years, working with Chinese partner groups to rescue dogs from trucks bound for the dog meat markets, uncover the immense cruelty that takes place at the slaughterhouses, and draw attention to the plight of the animals.
