At first I was only going to use sage and cranberries, but when I got to the store I noticed the bay
leaves and I thought they would be nice for
adding a deeper green tone and different texture to the
garland.

You can
add garland or moss in between the layers or just
leave alone.
For
added color, I used sprigs of cedar I had
left over from making the fresh
garland for the front gate (which you can see here).
