However, when I use stevia for sweetening other things, I use sweet
leaf stevia; it doesn't have any maltodextrin or dextrose or anything like that added to it.
Note that although the FDA has approved highly refined stevia preparations as a novel sweetener, it has not approved whole -
leaf stevia or crude stevia extracts for this use.
Moreover, the stevia is also not whole
leaf stevia, but a stevia extract.
