I used to use organic whole
leaf stevia powder but for some reason the FDA has still not approved the actual plant... just the extract version (go figure).

There is a bit of
stevia leaf powder with the rest of the healthy greens, which gives it just a touch of sweetness — not enough to make it sweet but just enough to not make everything taste so green.

Stevia: Made from the
leaves of a Paraguayan herb, and usually found in
powder form, it is 300 times sweeter than sugar.
(I use pure
stevia leaf powder as a sweetener which would not add to consistency).
Commercial
Stevia tastes like they extract it using gasoline; you can easily grow your own, dry the
leaves and
powder them, then use it sparingly (it's strong if you use too much!)

stevia market segmentation includes liquid,
powder, and

Personally, I feel safe using
stevia in
leaf form or tinctures made from
leaf form but avoid the white processed and
powdered versions.

Liquid
Stevia extract is better than
powdered Stevia and doesn't
leave a bitter aftertaste if used in moderation.
