A believer could act like an atheist, I suppose, but what would
he learn about atheists that he could not get by just reading some atheist literature or talking to some atheists?

about free thinking from Christians.
Why just the
atheists... and by the way, why not just go to your local maternity ward in your hospital... all of those babies are
atheists... they haven't
learned a thing
about your god, or any of the other thousands of gods.

atheist are spawns of the devil, maybe you should take up reading more
about them, as most
atheists have
learned quite a bit
about religion.
No rational person, including
atheists would claim we know every thing
about the universe there is much to
learn and will always be so.

atheist and my desires tend to involve things like enjoying good food, good wine, having friends,
learning more
about the world and enjoying my brief time here.
A person
learns another is an
atheist or a Christian, and they automatically refuse to understand anything more
about that person because they can't look past their belief system or respect their ideals.
If your an
atheist you might be in a position where you can make a neutral judgment not based on what religion you were taught
about, but based on what you
learned what the bible really says!
The reason
atheists know more
about the bible than christians is that they have taken the time to
learn about it and make a rational decision to not believe it.
As people
learn more
about religions, and their origins, they are likely to become agnostic or
atheist.
The vast majority of
atheists are non-confrontational people who came to the decision after
learning about various religions, and often were raised in an organized religion.
American
atheists don't
learn about the world or study history except a few quotes of Jefferson, and that one even out of the whole historical context as usual.
Atheists are always ready to
learn more, ready to ask more questions, eager for mankind to leave more
about ourselves and our origins.
if you want to play with the big boys, please
learn how to critically read and come up with your own ideas instead of rambling
about how «evasive» the
atheists are going to be with their pesky fasts and knowledge.
I know that i have prayed and things changed for the good and i have
learned that faith requires a courage that
atheist just don't have, so now you
atheist can start your shallow explanations
about how you can think for yourselves and your laughable big bang theories and your evolved from monkeys nonsense and i'll just stay with truth.
I for one have already donated money to American
Atheists upon
learning about this billboard.
Unless the
atheist had
learned from earlier conversations
about one's own faith, and the manner in which to discuss it, he probably would not know for sure, nor care, what we believed.
Atheists are not interested in
learning about or discussing God because they have it all figured out — right?
Then in the same logic: All I have
learned that i need to know
about atheist I have
learned on these boards.
We are all born
atheists and then «
learn» or are told
about a concept of something else.

about philosophy and science, I became an

I am not lessened by those that do not believe what i believe, i served this country and spent a year in Iraq, many of my fellow soldiers were Christian but i served beside
Atheists, mormons, Catholics, wiccans, Jews, even a satanist, yes a satanist, and guess what, we were friends, I cared deeply for them and they for me, These were the guys that protected me so i could sleep, my life was in their hands and theirs in mine... I think you all have a very bad idea of what a Christian is, i think you have no idea what you're talking
about when you judge us all as a religion... you need to get out of your house and off of your computer chair and
learn what people are really
about... Maybe then you will understand Humanity rather than just secularizing everybody and hating them... you are sad people, yet my beliefs teach me to pray for you, and hope that you come to reason...
It's how kids
learn about the varying gods... you're not born knowing a god, you're born an
atheist and it isn't until you are indoctrinated in to it that you
learn about it.
I agree,
atheists act like they know the truth, but we
learn so much more
about ourselves and our universe every day, every year, that there is no way to say for certain that a divine god does not exist.
The more I
learned about color and the more color theory I read, and I read everything from Goethe to David Batchelor's Chromophobia, the more I realized I was something of a color
atheist.
It reminded me of the talk show

atheists and aimed at people who believe in God, they can call in and they can
learn about atheism by debating with the hosts.
