But really, I don't think any of us who have
left church and Christianity have done
so because we expected perfection from Christians.
Some Christians think Jesus is leading them to

so for less noble reasons than your post describes.
So, I think you can't take the person's
leaving your
church personally......
I wouldn't be surprised to learn that many of those who do in fact
leave the
Church over issues related to sexuality do
so because they've been told over and over again that their value as a Christian, and as a human being, is wrapped up in their virginity,
so they no longer feel welcomed or worthy.
So that
leaves me with the question: What happens when it's a trusted person at this
church?
