It felt perfectly stable at this sort of speed too, although the brakes are not the most encouraging part of the car (they're effective enough, but need a good shove deep into the
pedal travel) so it felt wise to
leave plenty of margin for slowing.
The roofline is clearly more raked towards the
left side, which hints at the direction of
travel, but there is no steering wheel, no single seat and no gearlever or
pedals.
Unfortunately, the start / stop system is still way too rough on restart, and the clutch
pedal's
travel is just too long for my tastes — and my
left leg.
Because there's still the rest of the stiff
pedal travel to go, I got a
left - foot workout driving the WRX in city traffic.
Your hand feels good on the 5 - speed lever, because the shifting is light and precise, but your
left foot feels awkward, as the clutch
pedal has a long stroke and
travels a bit before it grabs.
