It is such a great core and
leg workout since you are standing in an athletic stance the entire time and need to keep your center of gravity on point.

When I looked on my
workout schedule for the day, I scrolled down to see that yesterday was supposed to be my higher carb day
since I had
legs on the strength menu.
Each group is then trained separately on its own
workout day.A great thing about the upper / lower split is that
legs get a day all to their own, so you have a very balanced
workout since you train your
legs, the largest muscles in your body, as much as the upper body.
For about a month, I've been doing Ballet Beautiful

leg exercises, and sees stretching as important.
Before you get started however I have to point out that I do not recommend this type of
workout for anyone with a hip flexor injury,
since it can be aggravated by the increased resistance of the water as you bring your
leg up.
The first benefit of
leg workout is that it builds the core
since it requires conscious effort to grow and contract.
If you wish to see an improvement on your
legs, less strenuous
workouts will not give much impact
since our
legs are used in working throughout the day.
Again another typical
workout for
legs, but
since the barbell is at the front ab and lower back muscles are used.
Plus for the past year I've been exercising everyday, starting with a 20 min run 3x a week and swimming the other days or doing a YouTube
workout but only for about 20 mins,
since Xmas I've been doing more running probably four or five times a week for 30 mins and then swimming the others but now I've noticed my
leg muscles are bigger and I maybe have more flesh / fat?!
But
since you advised to do floor exercises when it comes to
leg workouts I'm having second thoughts because it focuses on standing and doing lots of pliets.
We went up to 13 intervals for 2 HIIT days and eventually needed to split it up into 3 HIIT days with 6 intervals
since doing more than 13 intervals was simply just taxing and interfering with our
leg workouts.
Leggings, Sports Bras and Socks are always on my shopping list
since those are necessary for every
workout.
Plus, lifting your
legs with more weight in the boots would provide for a better
workout,
since you are putting more force on your large muscle groups.
Rather than blow all of our budget on pricey
workout clothes (
since when is it acceptable to charge $ 200 for
leggings we will sweat in profusely!?)
