The
blog has been in operation for a couple of years
now and has filled an important niche in the American
legal academy: fair and balanced coverage of vital issues at the intersection of law and religion.

I've been feeling that the
legal industry was on the verge of adopting mobile friendly websites for a few months
now, so when a new report from the Law Firm Mobile
blog arrived in my inbox yesterday, it was pretty timely.
Launch a
legal blog today and there is a pretty good chance you will not still be blogging a year from
now — maybe not even four months from
now.
But for
now I'm sticking with my original choice for first
legal blog.
I have had the flute riff from Men at Work's «Down Under» stuck in my head all morning thanks to the Federal Court in Sydney, Australia, and
now I'm going to pay it forward to

Today, the Law
Blog introduced a new lead writer, Jacob Gershman (pictured left), and announced that Joe Palazzolo will
now pursue a new role covering national
legal affairs for the WSJ.
Nowhere has this been more evident than in the LexBlog network, where a company that started out creating
blogs for lawyers is
now host to a network of more than 15,000
legal bloggers regularly producing posts about virtually every
legal topic.
Now, of course, the search giant is sending users to its own guide, and the Law Librarian
blog says that it marks the beginning of a new way that Google will invade the
legal world, as Google Dictionary already contains results for numerous
legal terms.
That conversation led to a Q&A that Sean has

Yesterday, however, the Law
Blog announced that Jones will
now be reporting on national
legal affairs for the WSJ, and that Joe Palazzolo (shown on the right) will be the new lead writer for the Law
