If you read some of the material that is presented in the context of
legal practice, there seem to be two
predictions about where the
legal industry is moving.
The
industry will look very different and that is about as bold a
prediction I could make other than the partnership model of law firms for the delivery of
legal services will wane considerably.
We discussed Brainloop's technology, with a specific focus on how it helps clients ensure compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), the ramifications of not adhering to ITAR, and his
predictions for the future of cybersecurity in the
legal industry.

In that vein, I read a good summary of 10 big

This is usually about the time of year when the
legal industry is buzzing with big
predictions for the future and this year is no different.
When respondents were asked for their perspectives on AI and its effect on the
legal industry, 71 % predicted it would have the biggest impact on electronic discovery in the areas of case assessment and predictive coding (TAR), coming in next at 41 % was document automation, followed by
legal research (40 %), contract analysis / automation (34 %), and case / outcome
prediction (24 %).
