That along with
less almond extract, more salt, vanilla extract and a swap out of lemon zest for orange zest made this apple almond cake my own.
Just made and tried these... SO delicious and fruity and sweet and buttery and just yum, although I would probably use a little
less almond extract next time but that's probably down to my own preference!

less rice milk next time and reduce the
almond extract to 1/2 tsp.
The basic proportions are easy to remember but I like to step it up in some traditional ways — half a vanilla bean, a splash of
