I always feel mildly ridiculous posting smoothie recipes — I know you know how to put things in a blender and turn it on — but many of you expressed interest in making your own less fruit smoothies, so I thought I'd leave this bad boy here for reference.
I've been more successful at some of these things than others over the past few weeks, but I'm thrilled to report that I'm at least crushing the less fruit smoothie game!!

Obviously the dessert smoothies are a little less healthy than the ones made purely from fruit.
Not only no fruit will go to waste, but all smoothies will be more intensely flavored and will need and less sugar.
If you're gonna make a «nicecream» or a smoothie bowl then always make sure you use the less sugary fruit, and always ALWAYS add in a decent fat and protein source for a more complete bowl of nutrition.

Hi Kimmy, I still use fruit in my smoothie, just not much — I went from about 2 cups to a little less than 1 cup.
Both dairy - free smoothie blends provide a full serving of fruit with 130 calories (or less) per 8 - ounce glass.
Pretty quick — less than 2 hours and I'll basically just add fresh fruit, smoothies and salads with dinner and a couple treats here and there and that will be my day.
(This will take longer than a normal smoothie since there is less liquid and mostly, if not all, frozen fruit.)
