You can definitely
use less onions if desired, or save the caramelized onions for another recipe.
Maybe I should have omitted the garlic and used
less onion in the sauce?
The onion I used happened to be pretty large, so I could've done
with less onion, but otherwise following the recipe resulted in an awesome dish!
You can also cut back on some of the sugar and carbs by
using less onions or no apples — however I think both of those make for delicious flavor!
