This includes using
less meat in recipes (for example: buy two pounds of ground beef and divide it into three servings to use in recipes that call for one pound of beef), giving our cats a spoonful of wet food as a treat instead of an entire can, using dish
towels instead of
paper towels in most situations, etc..
I have tried
paper towels, but that's a waste (and a mess) and then a mesh strainer seems to be
less effective.
A variation that I do is use beets instead of zucchini, I strain pureed beets in a
paper towel and use a little
less apple sauce, makes a cake like red velvet:).
Since during the baking process the bacon tends to stick at times to those racks, I decided it's
