Just like the top and bottom, the sides of the THL W6 don't offer much
less the volume rocker on the left and a Power / Lock key on the right

I absolutely love this
volume rocker position and found that I hit it accidentally
less often than one that's situated higher, and it was much easier to adjust when on a phone call too.
Swiping a fingertip across the sensor, which used to require shimmying your hand up the sides of the phone to reach a finger around the
volume rocker (or the power button, if you're left - handed), is a much
less arduous task than it used to be.

The only questionable design decision here is the power button (and, to
lesser extent, the
volume rocker), which is placed up high on the left side of the device and, as a result, isn't the easiest button to reach with one hand.
Motorola has pulled a nifty trick and made the
volume rocker double as a nano - SIM card slot — you wouldn't know unless you look in the manual, and it means one
less cutout on the side of the phone.
