Recently, a friend sent me a story about a teacher's
lesson on bullying.
The New York State United Teachers and Kerry Kennedy are scheduled to introduce a new
lesson on bullying Monday that will be added to the existing human rights cirriculum for New York's public schools known as Speak Truth to Power.

lessons for elementary classrooms (Kindergarten — Grade 5).

NPAL mentors teach teens and youth NCPC
lessons on everything from gangs to property crime and
bullying.
Then build
on those fundamentals with the
Bullying Prevention Unit for grades K — 5, with training for all school staff and
lessons for students.
The
lesson will give students the opportunity to reflect
on the problem of
bullying, and it will also help them to understand the effects that cyber
bullying can have.
The
lesson attempt to engage students
on cyber
bullying using active and engaging methodologies and updated, relevant information.

on bullying and get the whole class to participate.
