The Lesson Study approach proved transformative.
Following the seminar at The Wroxham School with David Weston and Pete Dudley, we were inspired to give
the lesson study approach a go — especially as the evidence in Southeast Asia was so astounding.
So, there are a number of trials, albeit much smaller than this EEF trial, which suggest that
a Lesson Study approach can have significant, positive impact on student outcomes, but only when the content is of high quality.
