Don't
let sleep deprivation keep you from enjoying your baby.

There's a couple reasons for this: after massive
sleep deprivation and zero separation between work and personal life, taking a step back often reminds a founder of the things that they want in their personal life and gives motivation to the work life and while in a lull this can upset investors or look like avoidance, its in almost every case helped the company and
lets be honest, if a company is going to die it isn't going to die in one week but be surprised at how much
sleep a founder might need and you probably wouldn't want many friends around.
Let's just say that hasn't happened — if anything, I'm less patient due to
sleep deprivation!
It is so easy to
let the tough times get you down: the
sleep deprivation, feeding troubles, sickness, tantrums, poo explosions — I could go on.
For a moment,
let's acknowledge that, even though pumping moms are often dealing with
sleep deprivation, hormones, and stress, that utterly hopeless feeling that you're not producing enough milk is real and not spectacular.

sleep deprivation because they are hauled out at every time of day and prevented from napping on their own biological rhythms because the parents view the baby as an accessory or can't be «inconvenienced» by staying home to

As a first time mom suffering from
sleep deprivation, the advice I received from others to
let my baby cry it out did not work for me.
While «
sleep» definitely belongs on the list,
let's be honest,
sleep deprivation and new motherhood pretty much go hand in hand.
As mentioned above, your newborn and toddler don't keep the same schedule, which means trying to plan a trip to the grocery store or a playdate with a friend will pretty much require every ounce of brain power you have (which,
let's be real, isn't a whole lot thanks to
sleep deprivation).
At a certain point, I could no longer cope with the
sleep deprivation and just listened to what my son was telling me, what my heart was telling me, and just
let him
sleep next to me in bed.
Let's be honest here: having a baby is an amazing and rewarding experience, but the
sleep deprivation that comes with it sucks.

let's face it, our experience of having a baby is fairly removed until we're dealing with diapering and
sleep deprivation.

letting the drowsy mice catch up on their ZZZs.
When a bird is suffering from
sleep deprivation they can start exhibiting problem behaviors such as biting to
let their owners know they are tired, cranky and unhappy.
Your newborn may excel at creating strains on your relationship through the difficulties of sharing responsibility,
sleep deprivation, economic stress, and the seeming impossibility of making time for yourself,
let alone spending time and energy focusing on your relationship.
