Its looking like he is building a new team I support Mr wenger why sell sachez now for 40 million while his replacement will cost us 80 million we need to get players of good quality first and then we can let go and I am sure if a club comes in with 80 million for sanchez Mr wenger will go for it savilla keep the ball well and circulates the ball well so many back passes to retain position they play a shape of 3331 and very close there was no gaps and they were not afraid to dig in to our players I must admit i like their system....

who would of guest City would make an offer of 60 million in the summer for Sanchez with only a year left on his contract, i'm guessing we could get an offer of around 30 million from City in January so he wont be persuaded by the likes of PSG with a signing on fee in the summer, but who knows what goes in the mind of Alexis or what kind of injuries some big clubs could have from now until January for them to make ridiculous offers to a world class player with no CL conflict of interest, lets say Real Madrid loses Ronaldo, Bale, Karim to long term injury you bet they will come ceiling with baring gifts for Sanchez's services or even Barca with Messi or Suarez
, then I say a definite yes because both players can use both feet and swirl around OG when a ball comes in or like yesterday when a ball came in to OG with back to goal and he let it go with a flick and Griezeman was off on a breakaway which he chipped the Iceland keeper.
Of course it would be silly to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this club... I'm certainly not going to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal win, I'm a fan of this club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real change would finally come... I resent this team for even making me feel such thoughts and it's going to take a lot of effort on their part to earn my trust again... this club has treated the fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged... fans rise and fall depending on the results of each game because we don't have faith in those in charge to make the necessary changes to personnel and tactics... each time we win many fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard to take the long view when those in charge have lied incessantly and refuse to take any responsibilities for their own actions... in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period... to be honest, the thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which considering our frugal nature and the way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is more than a little disconcerting
I would let Ramsey go for free and buy Forsberg from Leipzig who is more accomplished as a footballer and take over from Carzola even his counterpart who is heading to Liverpool next summer (Naby Keita) is way better than Ramsey and Wilshire combine — when you come to wenger's approach in the past it tells it all he never really intended to bring in quality players he was just giving fans false hopes and played mind games when they happened to end up somewhere else he will come outwith BS like we almost sign him
its Money cause if it was trophy's it have be Man City my guess I think pep don't like how Sanchez is acting if I was Man City fan I wouldn't want him I use love Sanchez but he's true colors are showing arsenal have try offer nice package now I think he's been bit greedy with everything but who can blame him we're shambles from top too bottom I don't care where he goes I don't care we're ozil goes and by looking at lacasette he looks like he wants out as promises have been broke he came play with Sanchez and ozil and he gets welbeck and iwobi not fair really, I just want wenger gone because them players are not playing for him a lot is not rite and we as fans are paying for it but I don't care anymore don't care who leaves who comes in club is dead watch Liverpool yesterday boy was I envy ahwell let's see what happens
Let's hope that both Alexis and Ozil remain at Arsenal for many years to come, because these are the types of players that are going to help the Gunners raise our level of ambition and with any luck, return Arsenal to ways of challenging for major honours every season.
I would like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is in my mind.We need to reinforce our team but we need to think in the future that most of the high class players are going to refuse signing for arsenal fc because of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It looks like arsenal becomes cemetery of players. How many players came in and left because of performance, became good players out of arsenal. We need to accept all of the transformation Mr wenger brings in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack of tactics, strategies and pretending best players for Mr wenger mind but in reality those players do not get standard of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that players who are calling by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter in good position or bad.He is wrong by thinking this way.He does not like criticism.he is the mind of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think about morrinho comments about arsenal!!!! Why he likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say about arsenal players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind players who play two good games and the rest shameless. They are working hard in the training ground for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them play; what is behind their (players) mind to be the most regular players. Those players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the big behind their mind to use wenger name to be selected in national team. They are not able to face different leagues in the world.
Was it Ospina's fault to not clear the cross or let the opposition striker get upon yourselves to head the ball in the net... No our defenders couldn't defend that in first place... Even though Ospina tried to push the ball out of the net... but we were just unlucky... because it went inside... And goal line technology reported it as a goal... We were wasteful against the opposition goal... fair enough, it happens, but how come the players suddenly become useless for the team...
life is all about gambles, you win some you lose some, we have taken a gamble on the likes of Walcott, Gibbs and its not paid off so lets cut our losses and move them on, if they go to another club and realise their so called potentials so be it, we can not keep giving them chances in the hope they will come good when all indications shows they are just average players who won the lottery with Arsenal....
Look at the players Chelsea once had but unwanted and thus let go by «the best manager they ever had»... debruyne, mata, david luiz... players on the up before he came in... and he brought 2 players on the way down, chubby fab, which is unwanted by barca and arsenal, and falcao, unwanted by monaco and manu....
If we let another season go by hoping that players would come good after they haven't in so many years, we're in serious trouble.
We lost against Watford we expect to win against Chelsea are we serious???? I dreamed we lost 4 1 I could not watch the match after we let the second in that nightmare was on I thought >> >> > as for that first goal it should not have stood as the goal came from dangerous play >> >> > unfortunately the team fell apart the unity has gone out the window >> >> players make school errors yet they earn 100 000 a week crazy carry on >> >> > I am sick of it I have had it with this punch >> > embarrassing carry on cant defend cant attack they only thing they can do is dwell with the ball side ways I am sick of this dwelling about with the ball
The source of the problem is leaving and players are like «alright» he is gone, fresh ideas and a new approach are coming in, let's pull it together and start fresh.
Meanwhile real live potentials who we could use and who are still (for a wonder interested in coming to the club) are ignored and passed up and generally let go, along with the players that are being loaned out due to their perceived lack of use to us, (Podolski and potentially Sanogo), though why the latter was ever considered a potential is beyond anyone with half a brain.
Real Madrid only ever sell a quality player if they have a player of even more supreme quality... i.e. Rodriguez came in and Di Maria was let go... Simple answer is there are not that many world - class CBs available in the market so Madrid do nt have a replacement and therefore wont sell a CB who can still be world - class for 4 - 5 more seasons..
No if the players, former players the board and over half the fanbase support a specialist in failure, then you know what you've become.A FAILING CLUB.You'll have to let those with the strength and amplitude of being able to live with everything that is going around the club do as they wish.We predict for change but change might not come for a long time.Wenger might not leave unless he is forced to.But the protess for change are weak and the board members are fine with his achievements I
I am all for keeping players who are full blood Arsenal but come on for the sake of progress we need to let certain players go and bring in better quality.
If we aren't scared, let's go for it then LoL...... Having fear only shows that we know our players aren't good / strong enough to face what's coming...
He hardly lie if psg want him it's good sign he's rated simple as that and let's be fair he's cracking manager he had just ran out ideas now people are saying wenger not good manager grow up there's a lot more to wat is going on behind scenes while I do think he should have left last summer or before he didn't because he really believes he can turn it around but sadly he can't I'd love if he did we all would if da invincibles man keep bk for just one good season we would all be in heaven we prop cry if wenger won us league again but please don't say he can't manage haha stop he's top manager he has just lost players and when he leaves truth will cum out but before anyone thumbs me down it's time for great man step down with dignity and class it really is and go get younger manager up coming class act we need
Unlike many I'm not scared at all if he leaves. You know why?Because I've seen better players leave the club and seen where we ended up.He's very good and world class but not as good as many think.Forget stats for a moment and look at his quality.I also hope the mistake of keeping Mr. Hold up at the club would not be made. Here at Arsenal we compromise a lot and we always ignore the cracks until it's too late.Wait till Lacazette goes for a three or four month injury. Then we'll know we never learn.I hope Bellerin doesn't make this mistake of leaving Arsenal. He has so so much to learn. His game still lacks that something. He needs to know how to maximise his potentials and be consistent. That will only come with more playing time and patience.Arsene should not even think of letting him go as we will have to spend money on a RB and besides we need him.
Arsenal are known for being something of a selling club and have let many of their best players go when Europe's elite have come calling in recent years.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Why play at a college that isn't Division 1, where scouts rarely come to the games and few players make it into the draft, let alone go on to play in The League?
Everyone is asking for certain players which I understand but Carvalho is very one paced the same as Xhaka We need a mobile CM Lemar won't be coming but his stats are better than Mane's so we should have paid what ever they wanted We need two CMs as in my opinion Xhaka isn't good enough Seri could be one as long as the other is a mobile destroyer But let's face it at the moment we are in a real bad state Wenger has lost the plot Players want to leave and I don't blame them, so it's either sell now or lose them for free Ozil can go players which I understand but Carvalho is very one paced the same as Xhaka We need a mobile CM Lemar won't be coming but his stats are better than Mane's so we should have paid what ever they wanted We need two CMs as in my opinion Xhaka isn't good enough Seri could be one as long as the other is a mobile destroyer But let's face it at the moment we are in a real bad state Wenger has lost the plot Players want to leave and I don't blame them, so it's either sell now or lose them for free Ozil can go Players want to leave and I don't blame them, so it's either sell now or lose them for free Ozil can go for me.
Clubs not making the CL can be a get out for many players, and I'm glad if these two said they want to see if players come in because lets face it, going again with Giroud Walcott Flamini Oxlade as very important players to the first team would be suicidal.
I only go to the games a few times during the season since I don't live in England, for those who do, we need to defy those damn stewards and raise the temperature at the games, that's the only practical solution I can come up with, we are not the ones who buy the players and all the noise we have made on social media and elsewhere keeps falling on deaf ears, they will not listen to our calls for players, let's go to the games and turn the library upside down as much as we can, we can not give those players a moments rest, we, the fans pay them [gate takings and TV subscriptions], you can't take my money and not give 100 %, Wenger can pamper them, we would not, they don't read much that is being said on social media but they can't ignore our chants at the stadium.
Joining a club of arsenal s stature has its ups and downs. There is a requirement of how our players should perform when on the pitch. The following is a list of players who were wrong to choose arsenal.Aaron ramsey - Even though he is the most favoured of all players at the club now.I cant help but think how it would have gone for Him if he decided to search for other greener pastures. He was a clear talented footballer during his time at cardiff but he hasnt been raised with the discipline at arsenal. You can always see ramseys all round strengths but sadly Its not helping him or the club with his foward moving pleasurr. He is so Over used and its sometimes difficult for him to get used to the rythm of the game. With time you realise he gets low ib confidence and his engine gets wasted. He needed somebody who would have managed him properly and with care and that person is certainpy not wenger. You would have been better off at Manu mate.Calum chambers - Came us a very talented player from southampton with raw talent. He was very good at first but wenger found a way to reduce his level of confidence. His inexperience was left exposed and wenger did nt do anything to resolve that problem and instead He looked for other talented players.Alex oxlade chamberlain - Another very talented player who needed only his skilled sharpened and his character modelled. That and he was ready to become a world beater. But wenger decided to let him run and run like a headless chicken causing him to be often injured and damaging his confidence.Who knows what would have happened to him gad he decided to look for more greener pasture. He is surely a much better player than this.Theo walcott - Another player who was tipped to have a very bright future. He had it in him.But all he needed was an appropriate manager who would nurture him with discipline and help him with his talent. But on Coming to arsenal he was given Much more responsiblities putting more weight on his shoulders on top of that another player who was recklessly managed with his talent and never coming off age because his character wasnt properly shaped.Mesut ozil - Al right i agree he perfoms well just recently. But imagine all the legendary players he was often compared to during his time at real madrid. On coming to arsenal he found no rotation often overused, suffered many injuries and his confidence dwindled. It is pretty clear arsene does not take any responsibility for players. And when at arsenal you have to be your own manager. You need not rely on your manager otherwise you might continue being the same player for the next many years. That is why each and every player are what they are because of their own efforts and wenger had nothing to do with it.Van persie was the same player for over 7 years untill he himself decided to change.Wenger only organises and prepares tge team while the rest is in your court. It is not what so many people make it out to be.Thats why we need to pressure wenger more than our own players. They are their own self managers and wenger needs to take that responsiComing to arsenal he was given Much more responsiblities putting more weight on his shoulders on top of that another player who was recklessly managed with his talent and never coming off age because his character wasnt properly shaped.Mesut ozil - Let's not be sheep and follow the rest of the Premier League clubs by actually going out and bidding for players, let's wait for them to come to Let's not be sheep and follow the rest of the Premier League clubs by actually going out and bidding for players, let's wait for them to come to let's wait for them to come to us.
With Ramsey, wilshere, le coq xhaka ozil and santi to cum back Jesus he's even pooping elneny into defence to make him feel part squad there's one more coming in there be no defender coming no midfielder it prop be lemar or whoever one more player guys he said 3 players tops we could be even finished as it is but I do think one more is on way so I don't get people who say get sari get Kieta get van diik get mahrez haha it's all rubbish wenger to loyal I love wenger since I was 15 I'm now 35 he's being major part my life like my grandad but let's be real I wouldn't be surprised if he brought diaby back it is wat it is not FIFA we got good squad lemer prop coming if we're lucky Sanchez prop going out
Hope rumors are true, if we let it sleep and say he goes to Liverpool you will have Barcelona / Madrid coming knocking on door and he will go for over 100mln — also do nt understand when wenger took a swipe to Sven few days ago — said they knew every good player in Europe and thats being the case, why he has problems to recruit them?
We should swap Walcott for Ross Barkley or even Lucas he's new podolski poor fella looks good player too» and why arsenal let szcheny go for 10 million we could of got atleast got sum juv player in return bad beisness if u ask me arsenal are already trying get back da lacasette cash if u ask me plus a free player come on wenger give us a. Are you really naive enough to believe that Wenger would bring anyone into this current locker room that is going to be given a strong voice... have you not been watching, listening or reading about our club for years... Lehman is a blind Wenger follower, which is the only reason he was even considered... just for a second think of all the strong personalities that have played for this club that have never been seriously considered even though they have expressed legitimate interest in participating in the coaching process... even worse, think of all the former greats who aren't even allowed on the same pitch as Wenger because they have offered their advice and / or criticism to the infallible one... I dare you to find a manager that has distanced himself from his former players as much as this man... it's the very reason why only one player I can think of has ever returned to play for Wenger and that was Flamini, which was hilarious considering we were desperately looking for a top quality defensive midfielder but Wenger could somehow find no one better than Flamini in the whole wide world... let's face it this club was simply trying to appease it's disgruntled fans by declaring that Wenger would no longer be given Ca rte Blanche when it came to the backroom staff so they probably asked him to give them a list of those who he would allow in the locker room... on that list he wrote Lehman, Pires and Bergkamp, likely because the first two are the only former players who haven't publicly questioned his horrible decision - making and the last one because he won't get in an airplane
Someone to force some good transfers, maybe go to Ibrahimovic and say «look we need a top striker, we'll give you the money, just come over here and lets win this title», someone that will do the deals and spend the money when a player is good enough to improve us, and boy there are enough of those!
Let's not all forget that we all want the same thing Arsenal to be great again but that's up to AW now, he has made mistakes even AKB brigade admitting to this so shall we all agree that we desperately need players in January wether we have injuries or not and if AW dose not buy TOP players then AKB are you still going to stick your heads in the sand or come out and ask for a change.
You are the only one who doesn't give Coquelin the credit that is going around even Wenger praises him as do other professionals.Look this is not about Coquelin this is about your coments on players age that you say at 20 are not in the same league as any at 25 bull shit, Fabragas Rooney Wiltshire Bellerin Ashely cole even Welbeck at United are class players at under 21You think that a player only matures at 25 or older you have no idea on a players ability, you just come out with this bull shit to make out you know about players.Well let's see as you say at end of season who has more knowledge on a player to make the big time CB
Maybe AlanFrank Though this is just a matter ofopion as to if they ARE world class or not I kow that Kondogbia bossed our midfield in the first round against Monaco, and certainly others in the europian market classed im as good enough, Schneiderlin MUST be classed as worl class (again wihin our price range) we are not gonna pay 60 million for any player let alone the likes o Pogba.Im not in any way deriding what we already have BUT we do need to reinforce what we have in order to A) push what we have to improve and work arder to keep their places and b) to cover for the inevitable suspensions and injuries that will come.
I can only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn on their club, let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few players coming in, the very culture of this club needs to be changed and that starts at the top... in order to change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power... only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization... on an important side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned transfer window didn't have to do with the big name players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision
In the real football world what ever makes you think City would ever let Aguerro go and even more crazy, why on earth would a player like him ever agree to come to Arsenal.
What I don't understand is how comes Spurs are letting go of Sandro whilst we r still stuck with players like Flamini
Cautious to avoid making the same mistakes, perhaps Real won't so easily let go of players like Isco and Varane if the likes of City and United come calling.
Wot??! Walcott is the type a player that can turn a game on its head, u don't get rid if that, his coming to his best year, Wud be stupid to let him go, the longer the contract the better
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
What's the point of letting him run his contract down, he will still end up at City for free, if he's really bent on going to city, get the best possible deal and let him go, we are signing new players, we don't need that negative vibe around them, I love Sanchez, but arsenal will always come first..
All I have heard repeatedly is that he is not going to be allowed to leave I would imagine that unless a big star comes in we would not let him leave... its 3 or 4 of the other squad players that need to leave — lets see Mahrez is not the one we need as we have plenty of attacking players and he is not a world class or standout player We let in 3 goals last night (albeit with a very makeshift team) and 44 goals last year so its clear what we need to focus on..
go Jack, go.and don't let the door hit you on your way out.As I said for years, Arsenal is so low in quality because that dumb idea of the «British core»... time has come to get rid of those British mediocre players and increase the quality and speed of the game.Ox gone, Wilshere to follow, looking forward for the departure of Welbeck, Chambers and Holding, other awful players being paid for nothing.Ramsey must be worry too.The day we don't have any British player in the senior team is the day we are coming back roaring.Very soon, I already feel that...
would realy love it if Ancelloti takes over from Wenger and let Ozil and Sanchez go is dey wan na dey ai nt bigger dan d team... players come nd goes but Arsenal We remain, sometimes it is not by holding down just let go and c Who stays by keep holding down too much they becomes a liability We need players With Monreal's kinda mentality not those Who think Arsenal cant survive without dem.
