goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style of play is ok for us but a striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal too much. For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?

but, im ok with this vardy transfer... it shows us many things: 1) wenger is changing, something some of us have been demanding for a long time; 2) it shows that wenger is taking risks: think about it, he is buying a men for a not cheap price, knowing he could not getting anything after, with a future sell i mean... this is an act that shows wengers intentions to win something, the buy is not motivated by any financial or economic reason but only for a «get the f epl once again» reason... this is an act that shows us hungry, even if we fail, we could said we try... first ever, we really try; 3) finally but very important... vardy is the kind of player we need... he is a warrior, a fighter... he has character... look at how he celebrate his goals... full of energy... he, like alexis, can motivate the team when the things are not going in our way (something wenger cant do because of his age and because he has never been an active coach on the pitch)... the vardy transfer, if it finish well, is a demostration of a change, and a good one... lets take care of winning things and do nt look the economic side for once... vardy is a bit old, but we can give a chance to welbeck after maybe, or akpom... u are not thinking about the future when we talk about ibra... guys: u complain when wenger do nt spend or because he is always looking for the bargain when u are the guys who has to pay the very expensive tickets... u complain when wenger buy the always for the future guy... like morata... stop to complain for everything and be consequent with yourself... i would love auba, but it is not going to happen... lukaku is awesome but the asking price is stupid... lets try with vardy, give us the throphy..
Come on mate everyone knows our club has gone threw a transactional period that we will probably never see in our life time again football has changed since the billionaires have come in we had to make the changes no other manager could of kept us in the top four while we had to change our whole structure I'm not saying wenger is perfect he does fustrate us all sometimes but were in safe hands and were going in the right direction not that I know a lot about the ffp but something is happening and every year we seem to becoming in a stronger position to what wenger is trying to achieve for our club we all know this is wenger last contract and even if he win the cl or the epl he won't sign another contract it just fustrates me that the way people act sometimes our time is coming even wen wenger leaves we will still have hope that we can compete for honours lets just enjoy beign arsenal fans and what will be will be cause wen in a very stable position and that is all the hope I need that our time will come in the future COYG

Let's get real here.It is very unlikely that ANY professional player will ever say anything derogatory about a teammate that has just left the club.If Jack had said about Coq - «Grew up playing with him in the Youth Team and have fond memories of a player they though he had very limited ability he always gave his all.Very surprised and disappointed the club never invested in a World Class defensive midfielder that we have quite obviously been lacking for a number of seasons and would no doubt have improved the defensive weakness we have shown over a number of seasons» we would have echoed his thoughts entirely. If he had said about Theo - «A player who should have been so much better than he ended up being. He had everything needed to be a prolific player for our club but I can understand the fans frustrations with his continued lack - lustre performances and total lack of a football brain.I think this is best explained by the managers preference to play a player of such limited ability as Alex Iwobi in front of Theo pretty much says it all» we again would have all nodded our agreement.Although Jack never mentioned Alexis Sanchez I would imagine something along the lines of «If the Manager had not persisted with players with such limited ability such as Francis and Theo and instead bought the world class players needed into the club then Sanchez would still most likely be here. The fans must wonder what the hell goes on at the club as they pay fortunes for the privalage of following our club but it seems the millions generated ends up purchasing a new Texas Ranch for the Owner or in a yearly renumeration of # 9million pounds to our manager».
The only chance Arsenal have of winning something in the future and retaining our reputation is to let Wenger go!!!.
Arsenal are known for being something of a selling club and have let many of their best players go when Europe's elite have come calling in recent years.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits

Let's get it over with and hope that the 1st 3 games will be a small sample of something that will not be consistent over the course of the season... Like Ramsey said let's see in 10 games or so and see where they are not only in the table but also the way they play... disappointed in the way we manage the transfer window but this team can do great things let's see how far they go & how much magic can Wenger work with the belief he has in the players enough not to buy somebody except CechLet's get it over with and hope that the 1st 3 games will be a small sample of something that will not be consistent over the course of the season... Good win yesterday... need something to give us a bit of confidence... But lets not get ahead of ourselves yet we need to get a good run going... with Ramsey out Wenger has no excuse not to play Campbell who put in another great performance all over the field and his assist for Walcott's first was nothing short of Ozil like!
Chelsea fans forum is the best place to be for now, they are now telling how he had a skull injury so he wont last long, a traitor, he did not thank mourihno blah blah.Anyway I was one of those against cech move because of Ospina but after listening to his interview he is coming to compete for his place and he believes he can bring something a little extra, Yeah.Szyny says he wants to stay even if as 3rd choice I heard martinez is wanted in spain so he can go and let szny to play for under21s until cech retires then he can take over!
When I was listening to Nate after he beat Conor on the FOX desk, he said something along the lines of»... look, i have been in this game for a very long time, almost 10 years in the UFC now, and fought best of the best all the time, Conor has done good so far, but has not fought that many top guys yet, let's see how many wars he can go through, let's see where he would be 10 years from, or 10 fights from now.»
personally I have lost faith and patience with him, on the field and off it, he has been a massive disappointment and a let down...... people are going on about his form in Roma, I say he is not doing something he has not dome at Arsenal, he has good games but lacks that consistency and maturity you will expect from a player who has been given the number one jersey for more than 2 years in one of the biggest clubs in the world.....
(i know there are a lot of hardcore fans in the world, and let me tell you i love football and love arsenal even more but lets be honest, its just a game) than the rights of human called human rights if you havent heard of it and the freedom of people, then there is something fundamentally wrong with you and your belief, like with the most people on this world who go on babbling about conservative sh $ %
Doubt it's gonna happen, no more marquee signings, not enough ambition, the amount of money we had and we brought one proven, quality player in for 33milliom, then two right backs and a backup goalie... Hmm... Not good enough if you ask me, I love the look of Chambers and Debuchy looks okay and Ospina ain't even played yet, that's not good enough if you ask me, if we had true ambition, we would have gone all out for Khedira and someone like Reus or Cavani, we need to aim high but once again, I feel let down by Wenger and I can not see us winning another trophy this season unless something big happens within the next two days I'm afraid.
For all the talk about Arsenal are now something more than what they have been over the past decade or so — the kind of club that would find a legit star like a van Persie or a Sánchez only to let them go win titles elsewhere in England — moves like this latest transfer seem to say that Arsenal remain who they've long been, and they don't have much interest in changing that.
For years Arsenal youngsters were able to strut their stuff in the «lower» level cup matches, and let us have a better idea of their skills, but that all seems to have gone because of the demands by the fans for Arsenal to win something, anything, and now strong first team squad players are the norm in these cup games.

I cant understand some fans how can you say a player like villa cud not do a job at arsenal he is a world class finisher something we do nt hav at the moment as much as henry is a god at the emirates lets face it last yr he cudnt give us no more than 15 mins a game the pace had left him plus he iz now 35 david villa to me regardless his age is one of the most prolific strikers out there like tola said look at raul villa is that type of player theu might lose pace but neva lose the knack of scoring goals wenger bring him in and another thing barca as a big club shud be ashame of themselves still owing arsenal money of those transfers for such a big club arsenal shud be going in for more players than jus david villa
