too much for me.
goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some
too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a
player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every
player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a
player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style of play is ok for us but a striker who can take on
players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal
too much. For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying
goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you
let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?
There's basically no sense in allowing a
player leave for free. The disgraceful thing is he's our best
player and you're
letting him
go for free.PSG have also given us the chance to include Lucas Moura / Blaise Matuidi in the deal. Why not take Matuidi and run. Then
go all out to find his replacement before the season starts.I just don't see sense in keeping him.Common sense tells us that he should be sold. You're not granted the title with or without him and just so you know, teams have won the EPL with wingers who are not better than Sanchez.Arsene should be smart before it's
too late.I said weeks ago that if he knows in his heart that he's
going to sell he had better do it quickly before teams start placing mammoth prices on their
players as they'll know that desperation of suitors grows towards the end of the window.

What do you mean you do nt expect him to be good as De Gea.Why do you know anyone's future. If I was to be very honest with you even if we keep Ospina and sell Szczesny i do nt see him also becoming an all time great. To me he should
go to Roma where i believe he can become an all time great. He is better than Ospina in terms of skill in goalkeeping but what makes Ospina better than him is that he acts more matured. You guys keep bringing up stats but we can all bring up stats for even a
player who might not be better than another
player but stats will make him look much better.Even hits stats show he is legendary but in actual sense he is not legendary. If u think am lying or talking

lets Keep Ospina and sell Szcz and
lets see.
A

We do need strength in depth so clearly we can't look to allow all our replacements

its Money cause if it was trophy's it have be Man City my guess I think pep don't like how Sanchez is acting if I was Man City fan I wouldn't want him I use love Sanchez but he's true colors are showing arsenal have try offer nice package now I think he's been bit greedy with everything but who can blame him we're shambles from top
too bottom I don't care where he
goes I don't care we're ozil
goes and by looking at lacasette he looks like he wants out as promises have been broke he came play with Sanchez and ozil and he gets welbeck and iwobi not fair really, I just want wenger
gone because them
players are not playing for him a lot is not rite and we as fans are paying for it but I don't care anymore don't care who leaves who comes in club is dead watch Liverpool yesterday boy was I envy ahwell
let's see what happens
Big in your list I can agree that all these
players would improve us, but
let's look at our CB At the moment Kos, top
player but is struggling with a inj which may or may not heal, at the moment he isn't match fit so not up to his own high standard, so needs help or a defender of his quality so he can
go and recover properly So then we have Mert,
too slow and no longer good enough, I'm not sure if he's even good enough for 3 rd choice CB,
too slow, poor on the air for his size and not brave enough, he's lasted this long due to Kos he needs a Top class CB just to allow him to play against average teams Ok now Reid not top class we can all agree so we couldn't really play him with MERT as he isn't Kos quality so can't cover merits deficiencys He could be ok with Kos but Kos is struggling So is Reid what we need???? And finally Wenger if he has all 3 fit will still play Kos / Mert first choice Oh and God forbid we play MERT / Reid against the top teams like Chels / city / utd / Southampton Chuckle chuckle
If we risked allowing Carl Jenkinson to

Thats a lovely thought but Wenger is known for

Unlike many I'm not scared at all if he leaves. You know why?Because I've seen better
players leave the club and seen where we ended up.He's very good and world class but not as good as many think.Forget stats for a moment and look at his quality.I also hope the mistake of keeping Mr. Hold up at the club would not be made. Here at Arsenal we compromise a lot and we always ignore the cracks until it's
too late.Wait till Lacazette
goes for a three or four month injury. Then we'll know we never learn.I hope Bellerin doesn't make this mistake of leaving Arsenal. He has so so much to learn. His game still lacks that something. He needs to know how to maximise his potentials and be consistent. That will only come with more playing time and patience.Arsene should not even think of
letting him
go as we will have to spend money on a RB and besides we need him.
If Barca make a cash + Rafinha bid for Bellerin we should sell him.We should also demand a satisfying amount. In the future if Rafinha wants to
go too we can
let the cycle continue. All we have to do is make sure we benefit from their talents.I still imagine what if Wenger had accepted the Thiago Alcantara and Bojan + cash bid for Fabregas. They could've have been far better than they are today under Wenger had he accepted the offer years back.
Let's not make the same mistake with Bellerin.I don't know if he'll even be staying beyond next season.Bellerin is very expensive as of now and to me we should cash in.A
player like Rafinha will definitely become a great
player in Arsenal. He just needs his chances and can do that.At times you need to have foresight in business. It's not just about keeping the
player you want to keep but also about doing everything possible to make sure you're always profiting.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but
too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball
too long, gives the ball away cheaply far
too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so
too... Xhaka is a little
too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way
too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far
too often...
let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far
too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus
too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table
too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we
went to a back 3, but even he became a bit
too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball
too long and he will give the ball up a little
too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter...
too slow,
too inefficient and way
too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
This is my proposition, IF Wenger doesn't want to spend
too much why not just
go for Carlos Bacca, Mahrez, and
let us have our new
players train with us for at least twice before the season starts proper...
Am sure now Wenger is
too experienced to
let this
go the wrong way especially if he was the
player in his plans.
It's been like a year plus I've taken part in the comment section, but trust me I've been here through n through and am fully aware of the major
players here...
Gone are the days we use to have over 60 70 comments on week days... Now
too many angry fans and admin unwillingness to
let some comments slide cos he deems them propaganda...
We should swap Walcott for Ross Barkley or even Lucas he's new podolski poor fella looks good
player too» and why arsenal
let szcheny
go for 10 million we could of got atleast got sum juv
player in return bad beisness if u ask me arsenal are already trying get back da lacasette cash if u ask me plus a free
player come on wenger give us a. Big name we deserve it oh we should stayed at Highbury talking Highbury we had 11 world class
players and no money compared to now and some1 please tell me we maybe have 3 world class
players now and have massive cash makes no since I don't want be like citch but just 1
player just 1 to wake us all up like verrotti or naggnaliom of Rome I think that's how u spell it ok I'm done
going watching fever pitch over and out fella gunners
And saying we have
too many
players does not wash because you could have
let the likes of Gibbs
go if you had not been asking
too much.
I can only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn on their club,
let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even
went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few
players coming in, the very culture of this club needs to be changed and that starts at the top... in order to change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power... only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization... on an important side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned transfer window didn't have to do with the big name
players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all
too familiar tunnel vision
Cech is good but losing it, not a sure and securing keeper... Would
let half of this team
go for free if not able to sell them, not at end of contract; they will still leave free... Then build a real team... Goal keeper, CD, CM... Sell OX, Ozil & Sanchez, Ramsey, Will chair, welbeck as we still can, Giroud... Not at end of window when no more
players are left, but from top of window... Common sense Wenger totally lost since leaving highbury, saving money as if it is his, said it
too... Wenger ruins
players.
Arsene Wenger does like a bargain, as every Arsenal fan knows all
too well, and getting a quality
player without having to pay a single penny, or Eurp as the case may be, in transfer fees is certainly a bargain, so I reckon that the Arsenal boss will be having a good long think about the news, reported by the Spanish Catalan sports paper Sport that FC Barcelona are willing to
let their Turkish international Arda Turan
go for nothing.

Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little
too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all
too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that
player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special
players and certainly can't help make the
player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper
players in the final third... he was never a good defensive
player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky —
too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a
player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand
players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually
went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not
going to press their current teams to
let them
go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those
players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
would realy love it if Ancelloti takes over from Wenger and
let Ozil and Sanchez
go is dey wan na dey ai nt bigger dan d team...
players come nd
goes but Arsenal We remain, sometimes it is not by holding down just
let go and c Who stays by keep holding down
too much they becomes a liability We need
players With Monreal's kinda mentality not those Who think Arsenal cant survive without dem.
let sanchez
go as it is good for him
too... he will never win the league under AW with same
players
Hahaha pepes here saying Benzema is not significantly better than Giroud.i do not even want to
go to stats.Firstly
lets talk about finishing, Giroud finishing is not really that good at all.He misses a lot of chances. He most at times needs many chances to score and all also misses sitters
too much.his shot accuracy
too ai nt that good at all. This makes him an average finisher.Secondly,
lets go to his dribbling abilities.every
player has his own limitations.Giroud has average dribbling.there are many times if he could beat a
player he would have been through on goal but since he cant he just waits for support denying the team a chance to score in most cases.Average dribbler. In addition, hold up play, Giroud holds up the ball really well, however, this does not work in all cases against physically strong defenders and also very intelligent defenders his hold up play suffers a lot.so for hold up play he is ok.i could
go on and on my word this striker is not good at all do nt you watch him or you want to use his stats.ah!
Despite Wenger claiming earlier on that Alexis will not be
let go no matter what, it looks as though the financial loss of losing the
player on a potential free transfer next summer would be
too much for the North London club to take.
If he wants
too much, you
let him
go knowing you still have other young talented
players.
Let them
go, and when maybe if we ever have a club that competes and wins at the highest stage on a frequent basis, like Real Madrid etc, you won't find
too many
players running for the doors with their agents (unless they are homesick or the wife is very good at convincing them she needs to be able to shop elsewhere).
I Liked Pires during his Arsenal playing days, which seems like many moons ago and to think that he is still in training with the club, one can only wonder that here's another
player that Wenger
let go of
too early (age policy, only giving 1 year extension to 29 - 30 year olds) More proof that Wenger is tooooo slow in changing his stubborn ways.
His ability is never in question, but what still surprises me is his work rate, he makes most other
players look average with his work rate, I say
lets go get more
players with this attitude and play a high pressing game, I also think we should sell either Ramsey or Witshire, and for me it would be Jack, average
players who holds the ball
too long, and with a crap attitude
All this constant garbage we get from the media about everybody wanting to leave Arsenal. From what I understand Arsenal have always had first choice on most
players unless the money elsewhere is
too massive.I can honestly say I haven't regretted any of the Arsenal
players leaving our club, with most of them being considered over the hill. The only
player Wenger ever wanted to keep was Fabregas the rest he was happy to
let go..
Its nice to see some people have open there eyes but all is true
lets ask our selves have this team change from last season where are the experienced
players that wenger talked about he selling us bull and every season he gets away with it the fans deserve better am from the caribbean so chance r i might never get to see arsenal live at the emirates because its
too expensive at least the club should be winning things i know its important to balance the books you must BUT football is about trophies as well and thats were the balance lies how the hell can we
go Six (6) seasons yes 6 without a trophy not even a FA cup or carling cup and no one says a word about the manager that is rubbish Arsenal live in the past
too much the time is now this season for me is the absolute last for wenger to win something i do nt care how much money he has made the club and Wenger if you cant bring that then
go work for an oil company and make them money and leave arsenal to a manager who is willing to win something not only buy
players for 10 million who take 10 years to develop am frustrated with this man.
hleb has moved on due to some personal reasons and we should cut the dude some slack because while he played for us, he played his heart and soul out, same
goes for flamini and gilberto and henry...
lets keep our criticisms on the pitch and remeber that no matter which side is wrong or who is greedy, what counts is how they performed on the pitch and they did that very well... we should be happy we do nt have
players that play rubbish on the field when their hearts are not with the club or when they are not satisfied... i personally pay tribute to gilberto, flamini, adebayor (if he leaves) diarra (hope its not
too late) and hleb.
Granted spring training is just around the corner and it is
too early to tell who will be close to playoff contention
let alone see which set of
players will
go down to injury with the rigorous 162 game season,
let alone the extra games played in the playoffs just to reach the series.
Let's see if I get this straight: It's
going «
too far» to give PS
players a head start, but an Xbox exclusive game is fine?
- the game's shading mechanism has changed, which allows for increased gear texture quality - all graphical aspects and programming mechanisms have been built up from scratch for this sequel - maximum resolution is 1080p in TV mode - a bigger focus for Nintendo was the 60 frames per second - occasionally the resolution will be scaled down when there is
too much ink displaying on the screen - Nintendo reduced the CPU load and refined the way to use CPU power effectively to maintain 60 fps in all matches - weapons were tweaked to
let players be more creative by thinking about unique weapon characteristics and their best uses - weapons are designed to be effective when they are used during the right occasion - Special weapons are stronger than the original ones when used in the right situation, but weaker otherwise - the damage and effect of slowing down your movement when you step in the opponent's ink are reduced from original - you can jump up in rank if you're good enough, but only up until S - you can't jump up from C, B or A to S + - when you win battles in Ranked mode, the Ranked meter fills and your rank
goes up when its fully filled - when you lose a battle, the gauge does not decrease, but the meter starts to crack - once the meter reaches its limit, it breaks - when the meter breaks, you have to start over again from the beginning or from a lower rank - highest rank is still S +, but if you fill up the Ranked meter, you get numbers after the alphabet such as «S +1», «S +2» and so on - maximum number is «S +50», but this number will not be displayed to your opponent - you are the only one to see it, and you can check it on your own status screen - Ranked Power is calculated by an algorithm to measure how strong each
player is with minuteness - this will determine if a
player's rank is worthy of receiving a big jump (like from «C» to «A»)- Ranked Power has no relation to your splat rate, and is more tied into to how well you lead your team to victory - you won't drop off more than one rank even if you play poorly - stage rotation time was changed to two hours - this was done because the devs expected people to play for an hour or so, but they found people play much longer - with Salmon Run, Nintendo considered how to implement a co-op oriented mode in a
player - versus -
player type of game - the devs will monitor how users are playing this mode to see if there's some tweaks they can throw in - more Salmon Run maps will be added in the future, but Nintendo wouldn't comment on adding more enemy types to the mode - rewards are changed each time Salmon Run is played - you can obtain rewards when playing locally, but not gear - originally Nintendo had an idea for this mode, but had no background setting, enemy designs, etc. - Inoue suggested that it should be salmon - themed - when Nintendo hosted the Splatfest that pit Callie against Marie, the development of Splatoon 2 had started - the devs had already decided to have the result reflected in the sequel - they even had an idea to announce the Splatfest with a phrase «Your choice will change the next Splatoon» - the timing to announce a sequel wasn't right, so they decided against this - they eventually released a series of short stories about the Squid Sisters to show how the Splatfest affected the sequel's story - Nintendo wouldn't say if Marina is an Octoling, and noted that Inklings are not paying attention to this
too much - Inklings don't care about appearances, as long as everyone is doing something fresh - the Squid Sisters had composers who produced their songs, but Off the Hook are composing their music by themselves - Pearl is genius artist, but she couldn't find a right partner because she's a bit
too edgy - she eventually found Marina as a partner though, and their chemistry is sparkling right now - Nintendo is planning a year of content updates for Splatoon 2 - when finished, the quantity of stages will be more than the original - some of the additional stages are totally new and some will be arranged stages from the first game - not all original stages will return and they are choosing stages based on the potential for them to be improved - Brella is shotgun-esque weapon, so the ink hits your opponent more if you are closer - it can shield damage when you open it, but the amount of damage has a limit and once it reaches it, it breaks - you can shoot ink, but you can't use the shield feature when it breaks - the shield won't prevent your allies ink - there are more new weapon categories which haven't been revealed yet - there are no other ranked modes outside of the three current options - the future holds any sort of possibility, but the devs didn't get specific about adding more content like that - for the modes, they adjusted the rule designs so that
players will experience the more interesting aspects
Of course we tried
letting players fly around a little bit, but we realized very quickly that it wasn't
going to work out
too well.
This item is affected by other items such as the Metal Box in which the
player will be
too heavy to be quickly carried off - screen and eventually
let go and disappear or fighters may not be affected at all when under the effects of a Super Mushroom, Poison Mushroom, or Lightning (including backfire) thus when the Beetle hits a
player with one of these effects, it'll bounce back and if it lands on the ground it'll be ready for use again.
