Whether that's running, Ultimate Frisbee, or golf, overuse injuries can happen if you go all in without
letting your body recover in between exercise sessions.

My educated guess is that it is just healing the digestive system or increasing digestive enzymes — that makes good nutritious food completely absorbed
in few hours leaving very little residue for expulsion (increased efficiency from an engineer's perspective) and not so good food getting quickly expelled from the
body — which makes the person productive
in whatever they are supposed to do (Macro level action, taking care of digestive system for example,
in setting your
body in the correct path for best functioning or preventing you from getting any disease or
letting you
recover fast).
That's why you should always take rest days and even weeks to
let your
body recover and make it even stronger once you get back
in the gym.
Remember, if you are doing whole
body workouts you need to
let your muscles
recover so have a rest day
in between work outs.
Many women, maybe you, find yourself
in a rush to get results and
in that rush you workout too much and don't
let your
body recover.
You put
in VERY focused, super-concentrated effort for short periods of time, then pull back and
let the gains pile up as your
body recovers.
I'd rather cut the calories sharply while my metabolism is fast, then constantly switch up my nutrient intake between low - carb and low - fat, then train myself to the point of overtraining, then back off and
let my
body recover and repair (hint: this is the approach I take

body to overtrain then back off and
let it
recover (there are a few other tenets, including very high frequency training, that I took away from it, but that's the main one).

body recover and then repeat the process of reaching the point where your hamstrings tighten stopping
in that position and breathing
in, tensing the legs and buttocks for a few seconds and then relaxing as you breath out.
In those 30 days, you'll
let your
body heal and
recover from those damaging foods.
