Right now, United.com is showing discounted saver
level awards on partner airlines in
business class to Europe.
For instance, from the US to Europe, a saver United
award is 57,500 miles one - way in
Business Class, whereas a low -
level Star Alliance
award in
Business Class should be 70,000 miles one - way.
BTW Explorer card does not provide the expanded IN fare
class saver
business / first
award that high
level elites can see.
Business class awards will still be expensive in cash outlay, and will start costing more miles as well come June (with the ability to book at lower mileage
levels through December, a good and fair move to give reasonable notice of changes to members).
At the time, there was a single date in all of 2014 with first or
business class award availability at the saver

SAAver
level award seats on the A321T can be difficult to find, but if you're lucky, you can redeem for 12,500 AAdvantage miles each way in economy, 25,000 each way in
business or 32,500 each way in first
class (these amounts will increase on March 22, 2016).
Delta flies Los Angeles — Sydney but you won't often find
business class award space at the low
level here.
And if you are crazy enough to redeem high -
level awards for
business class travel, increases to Africa and most of Asia are also in place.

level economy to Hawaii (up 5k from 40,000 to 45,000 miles), the Middle East (80,000 to 85,000 miles), and the South Asian subcontinent (80,000 to 85,000 miles).
While economy
award space on American Airlines is still pretty good for many different routes, there has been a lot of grief lately over
business class availability at the SAAver
level.
