On top of the absolutely brilliant Wing Commander style level, you'll be flying across a city in a helicopter, fighting through night clubs, and there's even a tower defense style
level near the end of the game to boot.

end of the book, and, should you be a lazy sod that doesn't want collect them all, even provides the text from any collectible that provides backstory, allowing you to happily fill in the blanks without having to play through an entire
level again.
Even the first
level on the tougher difficulty setting feels
near impossible, but whilst I would usually relish the intense challenge, it's not thanks to the
level design, or the enemy placement that makes BLEED such a challenging
game — all
of which are rather impressive even with their simplicity — and instead it's down to the boss at the
end of each stage.
