The other two style
levels felt like a chore to beat and I never looked forward to playing them.

The
level design in 88 Heroes: 98 Heroes Edition is unfortunately extremely uninspiring and, as someone who grew up in the wonderful 16 - bit era of platform magic, most of the
levels on offer here
felt like more of a
chore to get to the end of rather than offering a real challenge.
According to critics that got their hands on a good chunk of the game pre-release, Destiny 2 cuts out the bloat of mechanics that made Destiny 1
feel like a
chore, allowing you travel quicker,
level up more easily and spend more time shooting up aliens with great -
feeling guns.
Puzzles, hallucinations and (surprisingly) a water
level keeps the game from
feeling like a
chore.
You'll replay
levels during some particularly difficult areas but it never
feels like a
chore.
While it can
feel like a bit of a
chore to backtrack to prior
levels gathering these collectibles at times, it nonetheless helps to flesh out the game and boosts its difficulty by a wide margin.
While
leveling at least the game doesn't
feel like a
chore and it doesn't take several seconds just to kill basic enemies.
Thankfully, the blood points that are awarded seem to be given in abundance, making
leveling up my survivor not
feel like a
chore.
This made the game
feel like a
chore for me, being glad for minute
levels of progress and losing interest almost as soon as I got it.
I kept coming back to Aegis Defenders, but the defenses began to
feel like a
chore at the end of the
level rather than the exciting conclusion I imagine they were hoping for.
Not only that, but some of the
levels are just stupidly hard, making
level progression
feel like a
chore, as you hunt for some star you can get that doesn't require you to collect 50 trick - specific collectables inside 60 seconds.
Certainly, racing through its near - 30
levels didn't
feel like such a
chore.
But for all those games» merits, creating
levels or games within them could often
feel like a
chore, and try my patience (I still get frustrated thinking of the enemy AI programming in LittleBigPlanet 2).
