Libraries Classes Range from Internet Basics to Using Apps
The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System is offering six hands - on eReader informational
computer labs in addition to all of the regular
computer training
classes scheduled in
libraries this spring and summer.
This year, up through the end of October, 3,300 people have taken advantage of free
computer training
classes offered at the 37 Buffalo & Erie County Public
Libraries.
There are public
computers in all
libraries and
classes are offered on
computer use, software training, online career searches, resume writing and social media, to name a few.
After your initial
classes (often called Silver Surfers) you can book time slots on the
library computers and get started!
At the Homeschool Resource Center operated by the Seattle Public School District, home - schooled children can choose from a rotating menu of
classes or just stop by to use the
computer center or
library.
