all Licensed Athletic Trainers in the Commonwealth have received in - depth education about injury management for the physically active, as well as, conditioning, nutritional and mental health aspects of sport.

The primary responsibility of the Office is to review applicants for licensure for the practice of athletic training, as well as to compile and maintain current information on
licensed Athletic Trainers in the State of Maine.
The candidate must be nominated by
a licensed athletic trainer in Connecticut.
There is an urgent and compelling need to
license athletic trainers in California to protect the public, protect employers of athletic trainers and protect athletic trainers.
Moyer commented on the officials, «We intend to use the support of Representative Briggs, Senator Tomlinson and also Senator Browne to get the word out about the positive role of
the licensed Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth.

A youth athlete, who has been removed from play, may not return to play until the athlete is evaluated by a
licensed physician who may consult with an
athletic trainer, all of whom shall be trained
in the evaluation and management of concussions.
The policy requires removal from play for any student, as determined by a game official, coach from the student's team, certified

in another jurisdiction, and verification as to whether there has been disciplinary action taken
in that jurisdiction.

Athletic trainers licensed by the Board or certified or
licensed by the proper
licensing authority of another state, province, territory or the District of Columbia who are working
in a team setting, treating injuries which arise
in the course of practices or team sports events, may treat the participant at the events under the conditions of the referral, or the standing written prescription or written protocol.
(b) Except as otherwise provided
in this subsection, a person may not perform the duties of an
athletic trainer unless that person is
licensed by the Board.

licensed athletic trainers which allows them to maintain their

in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
«This collaboration solidified the role of the
Licensed Athletic Trainer as an approved health care provider

Moyer stated «Our educational process allows the
Licensed Athletic Trainer to recognize the potential use and abuse of PEDs by all athletes of both genders
in our secondary schools and universities

in the Commonwealth protect and enhance the health and welfare of our clients through prevention, recognition, management, and rehabilitation of injuries.
In order for an
Athletic Trainer (AT) to maintain their national certification and state
license, they must earn continuing education credits.
Athletes may sometimes have to deal with discomfort and pain to compete
in their sport and the decision to allow or not allow that to happen should be done by a certified and
licensed Athletic Trainer.
