The life of a visual artist is not an easy one.
POST is a behind - the - scenes look at a day in
the life of a visual artist as well as a community building initiative designed to strengthen bonds within the visual artist sector, fostering meaningful interaction between artists and the public, and promoting a greater awareness for the creative minds that make Philadelphia a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.

of a uniform organizing principle, ideology, or label, can provoke and inspire us to reframe the way we understand, interpret, and engage the uncertain and complex world we
live in.
Secondly, pure arts experiences in
visual and performing arts are brought into the school by
artists and teaching
artists to enrich the
lives of students and teachers by increasing their skills and knowledge in all arts disciplines.
The story
of how she became a

Reacting to the range
of works on view, which included a selection from the
artist's Concorde series (1997), still
lifes, portraits, and abstract works created using dye or developing fluid on light sensitive paper, Morton noted «what makes Tillmans's best work sing: the ability, through looking a little, and loving a little, to turn events in our
visual lives into vivid, everyday poetry, with all the pleasure and knotty exegesis that implies.
