It turned a little cooler here recently so I've had the chance to pull back out a few
light outerwear pieces before for one last wear.
Not exact matches
While warm weather normally calls for
light outer layers and
pieces (think cotton tanks, tees, sandals, and thinner jackets), this fall is all about
outerwear that is heavier in appearance.
Of course, this is just a few of the outfits you can create with these
pieces, the blazer and the cardigan can also be interchanged and of course the
light coat / jacket can be worn with all of the outfits as
outerwear.
I am talking about
light grey long coats worn atop printed maxi skirts, dust - blush long
outerwear pieces teamed with black - white midi skirts, fuchsia tailored must - tries teamed with beige tops and dark blue skirts, exaggerated grey - beige wool coats teamed with dark blue sleeveless shift dresses, monochromatic grey colored separates, as well as many other simple and easy to style combos.
The time is here for us to shed those heavy winter coats in favor of some
lighter pieces, and one lightweight
piece of
outerwear that has been trending recently is the classic trench coat.
