It has been slightly cooler this past week but typically it warms up again for the entire month of October, so I'm not exactly rushing
into light weight sweaters and all my denim just yet.
For example, wear a short summer dress with
a light weight sweater and denim jacket on top.
I wore
a light weight sweater that was loose and had fun sleeves that are bells with a tie.
Fall calls for layers and this right here is my total mom uniform...
a light weight sweater, olive vest, distressed jeans and a pair of boots you won't want to take off!

The contrast of warmth and thickness of wool vs
the light weight sweater will give more depth to your outfit.
A light weight sweater or jacket will be very handy to keep you warm and still look stylish.
A simple yet trendy long sleeve,
light weight sweater with a crew neckline and cold shoulder cut outs.
Adding
a light weight sweater tucked in a way to have your skirts and wear them too (even when the weather isn't cooperating)!

a lighter weight sweater made of cotton (similar to the one I wore here) so will be better if you overheat easily.
I loved this top because it's
a light weight sweater that still allows for air flow, and it has such beautiful lace detailing in the open back.
It's been unusually warm here, so I'm getting lots of use from
my lighter weight sweaters & while I enjoy that, I do wish I could be getting some use out of my cozier sweaters & scarves.
Easing into Spring,
light weight sweaters are key.
Instead look for duster /
lighter weight sweaters that you can wear in over air conditioned buildings & at home as a pajama robe!
