I suspect this is a traditional
recipe that bends to the taste of the cook preparing it - my version is
lighter on the cumin and red peppers
than some of the
other recipes you might come across.
I used
light brown sugar rather
than dark but
other than that I followed everything in the
recipe.
The only modification I made to the
recipe,
other than cutting it in half, was using
Light Coconut Milk.
It has a
light oat flavor and is a little more sturdy
than the
other two
recipes, making it easier to pile on those fresh berries.
