You see, games
like Armored Core and Virtual On aren't made for people who want maximum gaming empowerment for zero effort.
I've heard the name thrown around, but I was leaning more towards the sort of realistic games coming out at the time,
like Armored Core or the bizarre Treasures of the Deep.
In it, we see how much this game is
like Armored Core V and Verdict Day.
After all, games
like Armored Core For Answer have the player travel in excess of 2,000 km / h just in normal gameplay.
It's not meant to replicate the piloting feel of something
like Armored Core or even the more arcade like MechaAssault.
It may appear that with each passing burst of PR from Square Enix that Front Mission is changing more into something
like Armored Core.
This means stuff
like Armored Core is very likely being worked on but isn't quite in a state to be shown to the public at large.
They're either awful like a Gundam title, too complicated
like Armored Core or just plain ridiculous like Super Robot Taisen.
Not exact matches

like an instant gaming hit and it had also gotten the drop on the first
Armored Core by a good 18 months.
Junk Fields is a bit
like the love child of Chromehounds and
Armored Core 4.
With upcoming mecha - themed titles
like the Kickstarter - funded Battletech, Muv - Luv, Titanfall 2, and PlayStation 4 / Xbox One port of Hawken, and rumors that From Software is possibly working on a new
Armored Core installment, the mecha gaming landscape shows no signs of withering or stagnation.
In many ways, the
Armored Core series is the spiritual successor to games
like Assault Suits Valken.
It also spawned a spinoff, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, which feels
like a mix of Brutal Legend, Overlord and
Armored Core, with the veneer of Wario Land.
With
Armored Core V's Operator / Commander and now Entrenched bringing us mechanized trench warfare, it seems
like the vein of mecha gold Herzog Zwei uncovered may finally be tapped.
Armed Seven has a distinctly
Armored Core / Real Robot feel, Supercharged Robot Vulkaiser looks
like it would have fit right in with the cartoonish 70s Super Robot animes, and Witch - bot Meglilo has a cute female robot girl as the protagonist.
Like in
Armored Core the protagonist of Master Battles would be a silent one.
Some times great things are made,
LIKE enders,
LIKE chromehounds and
armored core,
LIKE the mechwarrior series.
Following on from Bandai's toy, Kotobukiya have announced a Hanged Man kit from
Armored Core V.
Like the previous kits in the range, this is similarly gimmick ridden.
Nobody knows yet whether this will be a spin - off
like Evolved or a mainline series
like 2008's Front Mission 2089, but it's rumored that Toshifumi Nabeshima, who worked on
Armored Core and the Xbox 360 exclusive Chromehounds, will be working alongside Square Enix to develop the game.
At first glance,
Armored Core looks a lot
like a mech - based action game.
It's this dichotomy that has produced games
like Zone of Enders,
Armored Core, Virtual On and a slew of others.
Even the already available
Armored Core V and Verdict Day are more engaging than what this looks to be
like.
Launching with games
like Tekken Tag Tournament, Dynasty Warrior 2, TimeSplitters,
Armored Core 2 and Midnight Club, the PS2 already had an amazing amount of variety for gamers.
As I recall,
Armored Core 1 wasn't too much different either... I would say that even though the game mechanics have changed, AC4 is still 90 %
like AC1, and all other AC games
like it.
Learning to play
Armored Core is
like being let into a massive conspiracy — each review is so obviously wrong, with the reviewer misinterpreting every game element, that it's beyond frustrating.
Thankfully, a slew of
Armored Core V details have now hit the internet
like a barrage of shoulder - mounted missiles.
