This game is also the first appearances of the Big
Koopa Troopa, which,
like other giant versions of normal enemies in this game, can only be found on Giant Land, and Dry Bones, an undead version usually found in fortresses.
It also doesn't get stunned when it loses its shell, as it slides out on its feet as opposed to its belly
like other
Koopa Troopas.

Koopa Troopa goes along with King
Koopa's plots, and is usually dressed up in costume
like King
Koopa and many other minions to go along with the theme of the episode.
Where the Mario Maker outfit seemed to show Mario in the blue print stages of construction, the Hammer Bros. outfit looks a little more
like Mario's ready to build something... or, you know, chuck hammers at unsuspecting Goombas and
Koopa Troopas.
Dry Bones is a lightweight character (
like the babies, Toad, Toadette,
Koopa Troopa, and lightweight Miis), which means it has a low top speed, but good acceleration and off road ability.
The Boomerang Bro (or Boomerang Brother [1]-RRB- is a type of
Koopa Troopa that,
like Hammer Bros., specialize in the use of a certain item as a weapon.
Jumping on them removes their wings and turn them into regular
Koopa Troopas, just
like in their home series.

There are entire towns of peaceful, law - abiding Goombas,
Koopa Troopas and the

It's hard to develop much character in the main - series games
like New Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Galaxy, but in Paper Mario, the team has the lines of dialogue to turn a nondescript
Koopa Troopa into Kooper, a plucky little guy who has archaeology dreams.
In truth, I'm a little disappointed, if only because I always wanted the
likes of Koops and Goombella to take on roles in the «regular» Mario world,
like in the Mario Party or sports games where a generic
Koopa Troopa or Goomba would be used.
Dry Bowser features a good off - road rating (tied with Toadette) and mini-turbo boost (tied with Wario,
Koopa Troopa, and Dry Bones), which makes vehicles
like the Flame Flyer and Phantom perform a bit better off the track along with getting a slightly better mini-turbo boost after a drift.
