People were REALLY upset that it came out and was the most beautiful Zelda game ever, instead of looking more
like OoT, the most butt - ugly Zelda game ever.
It may not look
like OoT or MM, but I don't think it needs to.
Not exact matches
It's not a game that needs to be played in 3D,
like Zelda
OOT 3D.
SS was more Oil Painting and flat (ish), Twilight Princess had more of a realistic tone,
OOT has more of a Mario
like quality to it's style.
All of these Majora's Mask appearances lately gives me a feeling that we'll be seeing it come to the 3DS (such as
OoT), or
like Ashley mentioned, have it remastered on the Wii U. I'm up for either one, since I don't have a Nintendo 64 anymore.

It's hard to believe that the super successful 3DS at the beginning was doing horrible and thanks the 3D Land, Mario Kart 7,
OOT 3D, and the price drop the 3DS Selling

I'm very intrigued by the Temple of Time, which looks exactly
like the one from
OoT.
I know people
like classic side scroller DK games because well they were great but come on, nintendo is seriously losing their ambitions, playing too safely instead of trying to revolutionize
like what they did with Mario 64, Zelda
Oot and Mario Galaxy.
Hell i could totally see little girl link
like in
OoT which would then change any romantic interests
like the girl at the lon lon ranch being a rough and tumble farm raised kid / cowboy, or princess ruto still being just a pushy guy trying to force his way into marriage with link.
So yeah, if they ever do another BOTW
like game, they NEED to have the Shrines be more
like the mini-dungeons such as the Ice Cave from
OOT, or just more cool «Test of Skill» combat dungeons that were a lot of fun.
There are indeed great dungeons included in these games but if I remember back to annoying and frustrating dungeons
like «City in the Sky «from Twilight Princess (people always complain about the Water Temple in
OOT).
To me, it all looks
like BotW takes place in the Fallen Hero timeline, right after
OoT.
I do agree it has the potential to really shake the series and the industry up again
like the original and
OOT did and BOTW is looking great.
In addition,
like in Skyward Sword, you have the ability to change from day to night in an instant (either Sun Song from
OoT or going to sleep in Skyward Sword).
I remember the Forest Temple in
OoT has this sound in the background that sounds
like a big monster sneaking up on you.
I * think * I remember the
OoT / Master Quest version of
OoT had very slight graphical upgrades (
like the gems being shiny or something).
This was expanded massively for
OOT, a space that was large enough to make you feel
like you were a small part of a world that existed around you.
I can't bring myself to say I
like Twilight Princess better than Ocarina of Time as a point of pride, but I do argue that TP wouldn't be nearly as good had it not had
OoT to play off of.
The King of the Red Lions states in WW that he is actually the last king of Hyrule (Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, or something
like that, correct me if i'm wrong) and not the sage of light Rauru that appears in
OoT.
Also the story of
OOT is way better that botw, where the story is so much fragmented that seems
like non existing.
