The story of Mario +
Rabbids Kingdom Battle, is that the
Rabbids screwed up some poor girl's science project in the real world, a project that combines objects to make something new and more efficient (
like a flower that's also a lamp).
Out of all the recent games
like Breath of the Wild, Odyssey, Xenoblade, Mario +
Rabbids, Sonic Mania HE CHOSE MY GAME?!
There's a bunch of new rules added but they're optional of course which is good because I didn't
like most of them (and they require you to use a
Rabbid's themed card deck with
Rabbid characters running around the screen and they're just annoying sometimes).
In short, it seems
like Mario +
Rabbids may know the words, but not the music.
Certainly not a party game to look forward to
like Rayman Raving
Rabbids TV Party, but it could be fun all the same.
Sure, the game is a weird three - way between Ubisoft's
Rabbids, Nintendo's characters, and XCOM's tactical turn - based combat (complete with zoom - in views for dramatic shots) but with Miyamoto chuckling along it looks
like a good time.

The answer, surprisingly, is yes all across the board, as Mario +
Rabbids not only manages to capture the feel of a strategy game but also feels
like a proper Nintendo game in every way.

like quest where Mario and the others must team up with
Rabbids Heros in order to take back the kingdom from the mischievous
Rabbids.
Rabbids dressed up
like Peach, Luigi etc is an amazing look.
When the list of rumored launch titles (which had several iterations) started to get a lot of traction from multiple sources, the Mario /
Rabbids game stuck out
like a sore thumb, people absolutely hated the idea of Mario being lumped together with a not so impressive franchise and felt it was pointless milking of the Nintendo character.
While the
Rabbids franchise has admittedly had some moderate success since its conception, the series was never a fan favorite from Ubisoft's massive catalog of IP, so it was understandable thinking that a crossover with a franchise
like Mario wouldn't really go over well (hell the initial Rayman connection didn't either).

like Mario, the
Rabbids, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Luigi, and more.
Nearly a year after the rumored title began, it began to look more & more
like a (then) unfortunate reality, as a couple of months prior to E3 2017 a Mario /
Rabbids crossover was once again brought into light, this time, however it was all but confirmed as the year one plan for the title was leaked, as well as gameplay mechanics and artwork.
Video games have been a huge focus for iam8bit and it looks
like Mario +
Rabbids Kingdom Battle is the next on their list.
