Much
like Yakuza 4, there are 4 playable characters: Shun Akiyama the likable loan shark, the unhinged Goro Majima, Yakuza 2's antagonist Ryugi Goda, and Kazuma Kiryu the dangerous but likable series lead.
For other games,
like Yakuza 0, I know that what I mostly wan na do is see the game's story, which I can do by watching a let's play or trawling through YouTube.
I had managed to platinum the game within around 40 hours which is quite short in comparison to games
like Yakuza 5 where I'm at 180 hours and still not platinumed that game yet!
The own Atlus, which has been foing gangbusters and their localization team handles localization for Sega titles, they own Arc System Works, which has THE HOTTEST fighting game right now, and they have franchises
like Yakuza and Valkyria Chronicles being succesful both financially and critically.
Not buying this game because of trophies doesn't mean Sega will just keep releasing exclusive PS3 games with trophies, it really means they may either skip releasing PS3 games (if they don't sell) or won't even consider bring other awesome games stateside
like Yakuza 3 (which has trophies).

Yakuza Apocalypse premiered at Cannes, it sounded
like Takashi Miike was back in full - force.
The cherubic hero in the neat powder blue suit, who looks
like he was torn out of a
yakuza pop - up book?
His memory of the shoot is strong, and he notes interesting extratextual items,
like the cloth midriff bindings that
yakuza wear to contain their intestines if they get stabbed, or the fact that many Japanese members of the production were missing pinky fingers.
The
yakuza movie used to bestride the Japanese film industry
like a colossus, but now clings to its margins.
The trouble is the
Yakuza franchise is nothing
like Grand Theft Auto, being more of an action adventure title that comes across as a combination of Shenmue and Dynamite Deka.

Yakuza 6 has gone nuts, adding not just a complete army recruitment / tactical combat system for gang warfare, but a baseball management game as well.
This month has a some heavy hitters
like God of War,
Yakuza 6, and Nintendo Labo, plus more Switch ports
like South Park and Naruto Shippuden.
I actually prefer it because it seems to fit the world more (just
like in
Yakuza).
Yakuza: Of the End did less business with a larger PS3 install base, either telling us that Japanese gamers are experiencing annual
Yakuza fatigue or they just don't
like the introduction of undead in their gangster brawler - dramas.
Largely including music written by Andrew «zircon» Aversa (the game's programmer and designer), the Tangledeep soundtrack will also feature guest contributions by legendary composers such as Hiroki Kikuta of Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 fame, Grant Kirkhope, composer for games
like GoldenEye 007 and Banjo - Kazooie, and Norihiko Hibino, who has worked on such series as Metal Gear Solid,
Yakuza, and Bayonetta.
Aran meanwhile has been playing the barmy
Yakuza 0 while his game of E3 is Mario + Rabbids since it also looks
like such a great take on tactical gameplay.
