But first, let me start with what
I liked about the film.
With incredible acting, dark but nessacary action and incredible emotional impacts, what is there not to
like about this film?
The story wasn't all that strong, but the acting was, and what I really
liked about this film is how it came at a common story in an unconventional way.
What
I liked about the film is the structure.
It was all I could do to watch the whole thing till the end - and I'm sorry for that, because there is so much to
like about the film, [aside from the lax editing].
If there is anything I didn't
like about the film, it's Cameron's lack of realism when dealing with the roles of children, especially Jonathan Lipnicki's (Stuart Little, The Little Vampire) character as the boy that Maguire forms a bond with, as he's too unrealistic in demeanor and too strange looking to buy as a real kid, and for that matter the same goes for Tyson Tidwell's (Suarez, The Ladykillers) demeanor (son of Rod) as well.
It's some serious blue collar blues, but that's what Bale seemed to
like about this film.
Personally, it was all I could do to watch the whole thing till the end — and I'm sorry for that, because there is so much to
like about the film, otherwise.
What many will not
like about the film is the direct attack on Christianity.
With excellent lead performances and an intriguing mysterious story to tell, some viewers may find much to
like about the film.
There are a lot of things to
like about this film, the cinematography is stunning, the soundtrack is beautiful and Sally Hawkins is just excellent.
Our own Alex Billington found more to
like about the film than I did, but he still didn't love it.

like about the film: Is the easy familiarity.
Another thing I really
liked about this film is the way that the music supplements the dialog, not taking the place of it.
They were wrong to do so; there is a lot to

In a youth film culture that has embraced increasingly violent and sadistic horror films, especially those that linger on acts of inhuman brutality and excruciatingly endured mutilations (quite accurately dubbed «torture porn»), what's not to
like about a film about a silent butcher who bludgeons the passengers of a late - night subway ride, preps the carcasses like slaughtered cattle and hangs them like sides of beef?
It's as if the producers asked themselves, «Gee, what is it that people
liked about those films?»
The ONLY thing I don't really
like about this film are the over-all look of the actual dinosaurs, themselves.
As part of his introductory speech, Hamill said, «One of the things
I like about the films is the intergenerational aspect.
But I think that's what
I like about the film most.
There is just very little to
like about this film, an assertive, confident debut that squandered the backing of one of the world's biggest movie studios.
Two things I didn't
like about the film — the title, and the scenes of people dancing while listening to the radio.
What I did
like about the film's middle section is that it constantly teases the audiences with small glimpses of Godzilla and the Muto monsters to get us invested.
But that's okay, because there's still a lot to
like about this film, whose laid - back comic tone is quickly established.
What
I like about this film the most is that it is being made by people who know superheros.
What the Lynchheads seemed to
like about his films was an open - endedness that allowed them some control over what they could say the film was really about, and what it really meant, feeding their egos and making them feel smart and superior.
