What
I like about this granola recipe is that it is a great base for any flavor combination your heart desires.
I think I'd heard of them before, and there's something slightly parfait -
like about those granola - yogurt - fruit compote cups they sell in M & S (although those really aren't good).

liking with different add - ins.
The great thing
about granola is that it can be modified for everyone's
likes!
On the other hand, I've been adding all sorts of texture and flavor pops over the top of the silky soup,
like garbanzos or lentils, spiced seeds, and this genius savory pistachio
granola, which kicks up just
about anything it's added to to the best degree.
After these photos were taken, I made another batch of
granola using semi-sweet chocolate chips and I
liked it decidedly better (but I hope you'll forgive me... I wasn't
about to take the pictures all over again!).
They'd also be a great housewarming / hostess / holiday gift as they keep really well but the best part
about them is that every single one of them is
like the very best part of
granola: the giant clusters.
I
like a
granola that's not too sweet, so I usually use
about half sweetener and half oil, but if you
like a sweeter
granola, pump up the sweetener ratio.
You can use any combination you
like, but I mixed
about 1/2 cup plain low fat
granola with 1 - 2 tablespoons each of chopped pecans, chia seeds, dried cranberries, and toasted coconut.
As for the recipes my family enjoyed... The
granola smelled
like a cinnamon bun while baking, and the end result was a crisp, crunchy, and totally scrumptious
granola that will have you forget
about your oat - based cereal in a matter of seconds!
What I
like most
about smoothie bowls is they are topped with extra goodies
like fruits, nuts, seeds, coconut flakes,
granola, etc..
The best thing
about homemade
granola though, is that you get to customize it however you
like when you make it yourself!
The good thing
about these muffins is the batter lends itself well to all sorts of mix - ins
like lots and lots of crisp clusters of
granola.

For
about a year I was also obsessed with Embi (
granola -
like) müsli with yogurt or chocolate pieces, eaten with yogurt.
I
like bigger chunks of
granola, so I stir only slightly
about half - way through cooking.
This is definitely my spiciest
granola flavor, but that's actually what I
like about it.
When the
granola is done in the oven, take it out and let it cool on the counter for
about an hour, or longer if you'd
like.
Too bad
about the underwhelming
granola pound cake, it sounds
like a promising combination.
This is by far the crunchiest and most cluster - y
granola I have ever made), the maple undertones, the pairing of pecans and pumpkin, the chai tea flavoring... basically, there is not a single thing that I don't
like (okay, maybe I'm not thrilled
about how quickly it finds its way into my mouth).
Like the previous
granola's this isn't overly sweet either so don't fret
about adding a little bit of chocolate to it.
I don't know
about you, but I have always been a super huge
granola fan, but... I just never really
liked the stuff that...
