types of collectible, enemy vehicles, special characters.
As much as the problem of crafting, of having to hunt particular small wildlife and collect random shrubbery could feel
like a chore just for expanding the backpacks for different
ammo types, it never does.

like an entirely different game, from the grace and familiarity of a sword and shield, to the explosive pummel of an
ammo - switching Bowgun, to the downright oddity of the Hunting Horn, a massive hammer that plays stat - buffing tunes.

like tangible weapon upgrade systems
like this, but it felt very limiting; although there are a variety of upgrades available (such as rate of fire,
ammo capacity, duration of effects, greater damage, or increased drop - rate of bolts, raritanium, or holocards), only three of these
types of upgrade can be applied to each weapon.
Apparently Rage will offer weapon upgrades,
like sniper scopes and stabilizers, and differing
ammo types, one of which allows us to control an enemy for a short period of time before they explode.
It seems
like a fast paced constant motion
type shooter but I started off finding a sniper rifle and used it from one place until I ran out of
ammo.

Like the stages, the guns are procedurally generated and come with many different properties and
ammo types.
At a quick glance, I wasn't able to see if any of those
ammo types actually matched what guns I had equipped and felt
like I was blindly picking what I thought would've been the most common of assault rifle
ammo (5.56 mm, of course).
