like flavour, while the coconut oil adds a subtle touch of tropical goodness and the raw

Approx. 1.5 cups almond milk (or milk of choice), add more if you prefer a runnier smoothie 1/3 cup of walnuts, or about 20g 1/4 of an avocado 2 tablespoons chia seeds 1 tablespoon raw
cacao (or to taste, I
like my chocolate intense, I added an extra half tablespoon) 2 heaped teaspoons maple or rice malt syrup, or sweetener of choice, to taste 1 heaped teaspoon maca powder (optional) 1 heaped teaspoon raw
cacao nibs 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon Pinch of vanilla powder (or essence) Pinch salt Leave half the walnuts and
cacao nibs aside.
I
like to top mine with a drizzle of pure maple syrup, fresh fruit, and crunchy topping (nuts,
cacao nibs, flaked coconut, etc.).
Raw
cacao nibs are a great source of anti-oxidants and compounds
like magnesium, theobromine and PEA's that improve blood flow into the brain and boost dopamine levels and make you feel great.
They are the perfect canvas for a delicious collection of natural ingredients
like chia seeds, dates, nuts, goji berries and
cacao nibs.
Combine all ingredients except
cacao nibs in a bowl, cup, mug or jar and stir until well combined and the chia seeds soak up the almond milk liquid and form a pudding -
like consistency.
Some of my family do not
like nuts in their brownies so I added some raw
cacao nibs to the tops instead of the nuts for crunch.
For the toppings, I went for a mix of nuts / berries /
cacao nibs etc... but you can really use ANYTHING you
like!
