The bread tastes fine but just very odd to eat as its
so flat and strangely shaped — i usually just rip bits off and treat it more
like crackers.
We don't buy things

like that, which I find saves
SO much money and has boosted our health

so that the toppings don't slide off, as the pizza has little or no raised crust.
If you

crackers crispy turn off the oven and leave them in there for an hour or
so.
Honey Maid graham
crackers are filled with all sorts of artificial ingredients that we avoid these days (
like soybean oil, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial flavor... to name a few),
so that is no longer an option for us.
Off the top of my head other low carb options could be edamame, Primal strips, flax
crackers, yuba, seed bars, TVP, kelp noodles, nori or spring green wraps, cocoa - avocado pudding and of course things
like cauliflower «rice» or «mashed potato», rhubarb crumble (with topping made with almond meal), the new
so delicious sugar free coconut ice creams...
I
like healthy
crackers plain, without anything on them,
so that I can actually taste the
cracker and enjoy its full flavor.

crackers are baked, I
like to turn off the oven, remove and break the
crackers then put the
crackers on the baking tray and return to the oven for another 10 minutes with the oven door slightly opened
so they get crispy but not burned.
I especially love this crust, the original recipe called for a package of crushed gingersnap cookies (made
like a graham
cracker crust)
so I've just used all the gingersnap cookie spices in the almond flour crust... you could do that with any gluten or grain free crust recipe!
I
like to replace the bulk of the salt with extra lemon juice and yes, the
crackers I used are / were salted,
so it made up for it
I made the crust tonight and enjoyed it
so much that I wondered what it would be
like as

so much healthier than frying them in butter with egg and
crackers like my mom did when I was a kid!
Since they are
so dense with the nuts, I do limit them to 4 or 5

The dark, tawny crust is
so thin and crunchy it feels
like this bread was wrapped tightly in a splintery

Well, I don't have sweet tooth & I don't
