Setting a blue and white Thanksgiving Table is a fun way for me to add my favorite color, while still maintaining some traditional elements
like dried wheat, burlap and my classic white and gold china.

Its consistency is especially soft and fine, almost
like wheat flour, but it gets a sweet, smoky flavor from chestnuts
dried over a fire and then ground to a powder.
From granola to cookies, myriad brands swapped traditional
wheat and grains for nuts

This is also a very
dry flour, and a 1:1 substitute ratio for other flours
like wheat isn't a good idea.
When the words «whole
wheat chocolate cupcakes» come out of my mouth you are probably envisioning a
dry, cardboard -
like cupcake that was better left un-eaten.
Glad you
liked the taste but shame it turned out
dry and rubbery, it's hard to say why, to be honest I don't work with vital
wheat gluten often at all as I can't buy it here (online only) so it's hard for me to troubleshoot as I don't have a lot of experience working with it: — RRB - The proportions of liquid should be just right in the recipe so maybe too much vital
wheat gluten got added during the kneading stage?
This ensures super soft, moist muffins rather than
dry ones because yeah no one
likes a
dry muffin — so make sure you don't skip this step and just end up mixing the
wheat bran in with the rest of the flours.
