Some
gamers out there may soon feel
like beta
testers as soon as you see the new bonuses and trailer below.
I mean I've done several different things in my past
like writing songs, Photoshop designing, video editing, drawing,
game developer, modder and even being a
game tester for a short period.
After a round or so, the
tester pointed out that even though a real - time system made the
game feel more
like a frantic struggle, Shadow of the Colossus also has many aspects that are turn - based.
Also, it's sad to say that as a
tester you would very rarely get to work on the types of
games that you would
like to play.
The affected
game testers can still use their consoles, they just can't get online with them, and that also means that they can't access
game updates or online
games like Destiny.
Game designers, programmers, artists, sound designers,
testers, producers, marketing — everyone should be on the same page in terms of understanding the target audience, up to being able to imagine what our players look
like in person.
The feedback has been great so far, many
testers played the
game for long play sessions and came back to us with mails showing us what they
liked and what they would improve.

Some friends I used as
testers liked the prototype and I decided to evolve it into a complete
game (with some nasty programmer art:P) that ended in the 360's Xbox Live Indie Games (back then the less known Xbox Live Community Games).
There are also worrying rumours of shortcuts
like the one in DK Jungle (minor and mainly useless) existing in Toad Circuit and Bowser's Castle, which would imply that to some extent this
game's
testers didn't do a very good job at finding and telling programmers to fix bugs.
