We had dinner at a stunning restaurant called Tohani, where we ordered plenty of smaller dishes
like halloumi, shrimps and stuffed aubergines.
Although cottage cheese is relative low in fat, you can use it just
like halloumi cheese or chicken - with healthy fats.
When I'm feeling disappointed because my son doesn't want to eat something that I know is totally delicious (
like halloumi cheese last night), I try to ask myself «did I like this food when I was 5?».

like a hint of mint / nana inside.

Halloumi.
Juicy watermelon, crispy prosciutto (you can also use bacon or pancetta), spicy arugula and grilled
halloumi cheese would be layered together and then sandwiched between two good - quality slices of multi-grain bread (I
like this local brand).
Halloumi is a great non-meat protein to grill because it's not
like normal cheese, and won't ooze into the grill, but maintains its integrity by taking on some crusty grill marks.
Instead of tempeh can we maybe do some indian cottage cheese
like a slice of paneer or chikpea flour small pancakes in the middle or
halloumi as well?
for the wraps, finely slice some
halloumi and fry in a hot dry frying pan until golden, smear some garlic sauce over the tortilla, place on a handful of fresh spinach followed by the golden
halloumi and roll up
like a burrito (ends folded in), cut in half and serve.
Chilly or warm, I'm still happy to make tasty food with big, Mediterranean flavors
like this grilled eggplant sandwich with
halloumi and tapenade mayonnaise.
One cheese that I
like to treat myself to in the summertime is
halloumi (pronounced hal - umi) which originates from Cyprus and is typically made from sheep and / or goat milk.
I made the courgette and
halloumi burgers at the weekend and they were delicious (although they didn't look much
like the picture).

like tea - smoked chicken salad sandwiches, grilled
halloumi kebabs, and Japanese tea soup.
And we loved the crisper plate — not just for stuff
like pizzas, but also as a quick, fat - free way to cook oven chips, «fried» eggs,
halloumi and more.
