like a car punching above its weight.
The cabin features no techno - goodies
like Audi's MMI or BMW's
iDrive to possibly befuddle the 16C's occupants; it instead surrounds the passengers with acres of serene leather and wood.
Although we
like the new
iDrive, there are still some quirks about how the various applications are organized.
The format is very easy to live with — the
iDrive -
like controller provides fast and easy access to all functions including the navigation system.
The 3 Series Gran Turismo is very well equipped, with standard comfort and entertainment amenities
like rain - sensing windshield wipers, eight - way power front sport seats, a multi-function sport steering wheel with audio, cruise and Bluetooth controls, automatic climate control, power panoramic moonroof and BMW's
iDrive system with integrated 6.5 - inch touchpad and an automatic tailgate.
It's also very BMW -

iDrive «touch» controller, Internet functionality, xenon headlights, LED fog lights, dual - zone climate control, auto engine stop - start, a power - operated tailgate, plus parking sensors and a rear - view camera.
While new BMW interior design features, such as Black Panel displays with colour multi-info displays and huge
iDrive screens, debuted in cars
like the F10 5 - Series, the E70 LCI that launched after it continued with an old school analogue metre panel and a smallish

iDrive or Lexus» unspeakably bad Remote Touch, but even if Kia's latest UVO system is marginally less sophisticated, its 8 - inch touchscreen (7 - inch on 2.0 T models) is significantly easier to use than those systems.
Likes its exteriors, its dashboard too has a layered design and it is equipped with several innovative aspects
like a touchscreen infotainment unit,
iDrive touch controller and a few other BMW ConnectDrive aspects.
It's easy to navigate the nicely - drawn menu pictograms via the tactile screen, but once you're on the move, that feature turns off - that would be Mazda's solution for undistracted driving - so the only option left is the rotary joystick - you know, the one looking a lot

The new Alcantara seat inserts are grippy, and the
iDrive -
like button can activate one of three different driving styles for the car.
For 2016, all new BMW 6 Series models get a refreshed nose and tail, plus interior enhancements
