I have candidiasis and a real need for the culture.I have gotten some
keifer from the store, but it is so expensive and it doesn't have the yeast, therefore it really isn't good «kefir»; more
like a good probiotic milk.
The friend that shared her
keifer pearls puts them on toast (
like cheese) when she has too many.
Nix your grains and sugars, and anything «fat free or low calorie»; instead, load up on plenty of FATS: good butter, olive oil, coconut oil, egg yolks, chicken skin, the fattier and nutrient dense animal parts,
like liver and kidneys, and switch to whole dairy products (yogurt and
keifer).
I'm just going to use
keifer any way I'd use buttermilk

like to know about coconut syrup... or sugar if it feeds candida i was following the gaps diet it was working well until i started eating kefier a fermented food i was also drinking the juice of pickles which seemed ok but the
keifer is not working is my guess but its hard to trust myself as it suppose to be so good and packed with healthy bacteria to help with constipation etc...
