But when viewed against the entire array of what's served by the district — the amount of processed, prepackaged food, the predominance of «
kid food»
like chicken nuggets and hamburgers, the sub-par «a la carte» offerings (especially at the
middle and high
school levels)-- these improvements don't seem terribly significant.
