The idea came from the pages of a May 2016 issue of InStyle magazine and the concept was «mad maximalism», which I took as wearing simple pieces but in a really over-the-top way
like pattern mixing.
I have to say, as much as
I like pattern mixing, it doesn't come naturally to me.
Like PATTERN MIXING, try to match up a large scale texture with one that's smaller in size to keep from getting swallowed up by your look.
